To create a header banner for your blog page?:
- open photoshop!
- Good size to start is 1inch {height} by 7inch {width}
- Create Banner Graphic [see below]
- Save as .jpg
- Go to design dashboard-->edit
- In edit mode, browse-->make sure you Click add to fit.

- drop into photoshop
- take away background [magic erase]
- create new background [new layer below text]
- apply effects to font graphic layer [ layerstyle overlay to modify colors, effects etc
